Our uniquely designed adaptive ice skating equipment includes our own line of learn to skate walkers in three sizes accomodating children as young as 18 months through fully grown adults.
Admission and equipment are provided free of cost but you have to pre register with the providing organization.
Skaters must fill out a release form and meet our essential eligibility criteria for ice skating programs.
Adaptive skating usa is not for profit 501 c 3 tax exempt charitable.
There is no fee to use an ice sled.
Additionally we benefit the ice skating community by exposing ice skating to a wider more diverse audience by increasing its member base to be more inclusive of individuals with disabilities and by facilitating the sharing and donation of new and used equipment.
Ice sleds offer a seated option for skaters who cannot use their legs or who have balance issues.
You can enjoy the ice in many ways at an adaptive skating program.
